Danny Hedrick, ASA, co-owner of Apices Appraisal Group, has been involved in residential real estate as a salesman and appraiser since 1982. He has experience in one-to-four family residential appraisals including Conventional, VA, FHA, Home Equity, and Relocation. Danny is a Certified Residential Appraiser in Texas and a Senior Member of the American Society of Appraisers. One of the original members of the ASA Corpus Christi Chapter #103, he has served as Treasurer and President. Currently, Danny is in charge of the Chapter's Education Committee which has a commitment to serving appraisers and lenders in the community. Danny regularly attends seminars and education courses in order to stay informed of the changes in Appraisal Standards and learn new techniques necessary to stay on top of the appraisal industry.
Bill Batey, co-owner of Apices Appraisal Group, has been a residential real estate appraiser since 1977 and has held a real estate brokers license for over twenty years. He has experience in one-to-four family, condominium, and townhome residential appraisals including Conventional, FHA, Home Equity, and Relocation. Previously, Bill was chief appraiser for First Texas Savings (formerly Bank America) and Vice President in charge of residential properties for a local appraisal firm. He has been a Certified Residential Appraiser in Texas since the inception of the Licensing/Certification requirements. From 1983 until its dissolution, Bill was authorized to perform FHA appraisals as a member of South Texas HUD Panel and has recently become qualified under the new guidelines to complete FHA appraisals.
Jo Gardner, an associate appraiser with the company, has been a residential real estate appraiser since 1992. She is a Certified Residential Appraiser in Texas and has experience in single-family, condominium, and townhome residential appraisals including Conventional, FHA, Home Equity, and Relocation. With more than 20 years background in the real estate business, Jo's experience gives her an interesting, well-rounded perspective on the appraisal process. She was a licensed realtor in the State of Ohio, an Area Manager of delinquent tax collections with the firm of Calame, Linebarger and Graham in Corpus Christi, and also worked at the Nueces County Tax Appraisal District.
